About notebook presentation:

If you have an electronic presentation, we strongly recommend that you bring it on a USB-stick; we prefer that a pdf-format be used (ppt is also possibly, but not the preference ). The standard software running on the laptop in the lecture room is Windows XP, Adobe Reader 7.0 and Powerpoint 2003. Please make sure that you go to the lecture room well in advance, to put your presentation on the desktop of the laptop, and to meet with the chairman and the technical assistant.

If it is inevitable that you use your own laptop (for instance if you want to use non-standard software), then a direct connection with the beamer in the lecture room will be made; you won't have Internet connection. If you use your own laptop, go to the lecture room well in advance (directly at the start of the break between the sessions), to be sure that everything works well; the time schedule is strict. If you bring your own laptop, be sure to bring a (Western-) European plug as well.
