The 15th INFORMS Applied Probability Conference will take place July 12 - 15 2009 on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, USA. Ithaca lies in the Finger Lakes district, which is famous for its vineyards, gorges and waterfalls.
The conference's primary focus is on applications of probability in operations research, although it also draws specialists in related fields such as statistics and physics. The conference is considered a leading forum within applied probability.
The conference will take place in the "Statler Hall & Auditorium" (not the adjacent Statler Hotel) that is one of the buildings circled in red in this campus map. The opening session and plenary begin in the auditorium, STL 185, at 11am on Sunday 12th July.
